  My school is the most amazing school ever because every day I learn something new and something that I could benefit from in the future. And the school I am talking about is Dixon High School. I am a senior and thru all my high school years I learned so much. I learned I do not have to have fancy things and buy everything I see to make me look good. I learned that hard work makes a person look better. My school does not have a lot of money like the other schools around me but we have the biggest heart. My school does anything to make students happy. I am on the track team and I been on that team since 10^th grade and all I can say is that we get the biggest support ever. Sometimes we may lose but at the end of the day Dixon High School will have our backs.

Dixon High School Pride and Spirit

  At our prep rallies, we go crazy and we celebrate as one and show Dixon Bulldogs Pride. Our Football team is not the best and all the other schools make fun of our team but our team work harder than some of the other high schools. We never give up and we never show that we are weak. We show our pride at football game wearing our maroon and gold colors and shouting “GO DIXON BULLDOGS!”. 

  Even if we are not the best we try to show how much spirit and support we have for Dixon High School. See, my school showed me that it is not always about showing off but it is about showing that no one can bring you down and I will fight for the things I want. And this will help thru college because it will show me in order to get what I want and have a successful career, I have to show that I want it and I have to show that I am willing to work hard to get to my future career and education goals.  I am proud to be a Dixon High School senior, I met some great friend and some great teachers that I will always remember. "Maroon! Gold!"
